There are plenty of options for Glass Blenders, but not a single consumer oriented option currently on the market - for a Glass Food Processor.
While it is understandable that designing such device is more difficult, the premium price one would pay to have such quality product should be able to offset the design costs.
There are limited products of such kind available, even among the professional rated food processors.
As all glass containers break eventually - the manufacturer of such product will be able to sell additional accessories (at very high prices...) to the consumers, thus expanding their profit margins derived from a single product through its life cycle.
Design idea: Food processor with Glass or Stainless Steel container.
What does it improve on: No more chemicals (BPA in some cases) leaching in the processed food. No matter how hard a plastic container is - with the years of use, high temperature, acidity of food, etc. - some leaching of chemicals from the plastic into the prepared food will occur. Not so with Glass Container.
How hard is to design it: Easy - all that is needed is to design the Food processor around the suitable glass bowl, and not the oher way around.
